The Sparks lost their final game in an exciting, down-to-the-wire, game. The final score was 23-21. Rachel made two clutch field goals to pull the Sparks to within two points with 13 seconds remaining, but the Sparks press could not steal the ball in time to pull out a victory.
It was a close game throughout. The Sparks went out to a early 8-0 lead by dominating the defensive boards and creating some open shots on offense. We played well enough to win this game. The shots just didn't fall for us and we had problems with the press. Whitney was very aggressive throughout the game. Erica made a great assist to Tesa in the second half.
